how brancha works

Work out what needs to change, then change it

Brancha starts by analysing the business in depth, then turns that diagnosis into a clear strategic marketing plan.

Marketing problems are rarely just marketing problems

the problem

The visible problem
Teams look ineffective
Agencies are underperforming
Web traffic is low
The underlying cause
No clear priorities
Briefs are wrong
Messaging is unclear

Before changing anything, Brancha works with you to understand the underlying cause.

the brancha approach

Four stages. One direction

01
Assess
Understand what's happening and why

Start with the business: its goals, commercial priorities, customers, current marketing and the gaps between what exists today and what the business actually needs.

02
Plan
Decide what needs to change

Turn the findings into a clear marketing strategy, priorities and practical roadmap. Decide what happens first, what can wait, where investment is needed and what should stop.

03
Transform
Lead the change

Where Brancha continues, I stay embedded in the business to lead the changes identified through the Assessment, working with the internal team and the right external specialists.

04
Transition
Build independence

As the foundations strengthen and the team becomes more capable, Brancha's role reduces. The end point may be an independent internal team, permanent leadership, lighter strategic support or fractional leadership for a period.

The Assessment determines the Transformation.

The right marketing strategy depends on the business

no standard answer

You're building marketing for the first time

You may be preparing to launch your first product, building a commercial function or reaching the point where marketing can no longer be handled around everything else.

Brancha helps you build the foundations properly: who you're trying to reach, how you position the business and products, what marketing needs to achieve and what you need to invest in.

That might mean building a small internal team, choosing the right external support, developing the website and content, or putting the systems in place to start generating demand.

The aim isn't to build a big marketing function. It's to build the right one for where the business is now.

A biotech preparing to commercialise its first product doesn't need the same marketing function as a larger company with multiple products, markets and an established commercial team.

You have marketing, but are not convinced it's working

You may already have a team, agencies, a website, events, content and budget, but the results aren't clear, priorities keep changing or leadership isn't sure what marketing is achieving.

Brancha works out where the problem sits. It could be strategy, positioning, team structure, capability, leadership, processes, external support or simply too much activity without enough direction.

From there, I help reset the priorities and lead the changes needed to connect marketing more clearly to the commercial goals.

The aim isn't necessarily to do more marketing. It's to make what you have work better.

A marketing function that knows what it's there to do

the end goal

You shouldn't finish working with Brancha with a pile of recommendations and the same problems you started with.

You should have clearer direction, stronger foundations and a team increasingly capable of delivering what the business needs.
